We’re in the home stretch! I’ll be closing backer surveys and charging cards for shipping through BackerKit within the next 3 weeks. Now is the time to verify your address is correct. If you lost you're e-mail or log-in information for BackerKit, you can get it here.
One illustration left! Then... the layout gets a few tweaks... a final proofread, and we’re done!
Digital copies will be released to backers as soon as they get the final approval.
At that point we issue the go ahead for physical proofs from the printer. That process usually takes about 2 weeks, but it might be delayed due to holiday shipping. If everything looks okay, I will give the order to print the whole lot and send them to the distributor to mail (another 2 weeks + packaging + backer ship time).
Bundle of Jokes
I’ve started sending out postcards with dad jokes on them. For folks who have purchased a “bundle of joy” add-on with only digital rewards, I’d still like to send you a postcard if I can. I’ll reach out to you if I need your address and ask if you would like a dad joke in the mail. If you do, I’ll grab your address and we’ll take it from there!
Illustrations and Estimates

PDFs ETA: December
Physical Zine ETA: January
Thank you to those of you who have filled out the BackerKit surveys. We still have some time before addresses are closed and cards are charged but it'll be great to have everyone in before we need them so we can ship fast. I'll post an update when that happens.
I’m sorry to say that Jacob Fleming will not be able to complete all of the illustrations for the module. He’s already done a lot for the project and all of it is fantastic. I’m so grateful to have worked with him on Aberrant Reflections and hope to work with him again on another project soon.
For the remaining art pieces, I’ve talked with a few artists who are very excited about the project. So far, I've been blown away by their work and am extremely happy with look and feel. Each artist is definitely bringing something special to the table.
We’re looking to wrap up illustrations by end of November. The layout and text has been complete for a while. All that remains is the rest of the art (and there is A LOT of it). It will be worth the wait.
After a final editing pass, the digital PDFs will be released to backers and we'll be waiting on physical proofs from the printers. Then it's just a matter of shipping. December will be butting up against some busy shipping times and I don't expect physical copies to get sent out this year. Iestimate having digital copies out to backers in December and physicalcopies in January.
Thanks again for your support and for hanging in there. Here's some pretty spread previews.

tldr: We are on-track for printing in a couple of months and thenshipping in December. You will have another chance to change your address before thenvia BackerKit.
Shipping and BackerKit
The Kickstarter surveys have been closed, but you’ll still have a chance to change your address before we ship in December.
Shipping costs have not changed from the Kickstarter estimates. Which is great!
We'll be collecting final shipping addresses and shipping payments through BackerKit. All of your survey responses and address changes should be imported from Kickstarter.
I'll be sending out the BackerKit emails this week. You’ll be able to enter payment information, but you won’t be charged until the survey is closed and we are ready to print and ship. I will send out a reminder e-mail before we close it.
You should be able to change your backer tier and add additional add-ons if you'd like to. If you have issues, please reach out to me.
The text is laid out! Jean has been working furiously on something amazing and I'm excited to share it with you soon. Now that we know the final illustration sizes needed, Jacob will start fleshing out the rest of the art.
We have been looking over the zine and making small tweaks. There will be a final editing pass by Sam and then the digital copy will be complete and ready to distribute.
One more thing... I got these cuties back from the printer. Thought I'd share <3

Just wanted to keep y’all informed. It’s crunch time for writing and editing of Aberrant Reflections.
I'm working with our editor, Richard, to get the text in good shape by the end of June. He has been extremely helpful in the iterative process.
Playtesting is ongoing and has been crucial to tightening up the adventure.
OSJ is ready to start making a pretty map from my chicken scratch draft as soon as it's ready for them.
In July, I’ll be getting the text copy in the hands of our layout artist, Jean.
If we can work out a preliminary design sometime in July or August, we can get Jacob involved with illustration sizes as early as possible. And we can make sure the art and layout jive and we have the spot art we need.
August/September will probably be the month where illustration work starts kicking off full-swing and we can get final art assets into the layout.
For now, it looks like we can still hit our original estimated delivery of digital and print rewards for this winter.
